Will I Meet The DJ for My Event?
Of Course. DJ 360 likes to meet with party planners and brides and grooms face to face as many times as needed to ensure their event runs smoothly.
What Styles Do You Offer?
DJ 360 can provide music for a formal gathering, a laid back one or the kind where you kick your shoes off and sweat! Your wedding reception or party will be custom tailored to your taste.
How much do you charge?
Fees are based on many things including whether the event is in the Raleigh area or outside the area, the length of time of the event and whether you want any extras such as lights. Keep in mind that you can't compare the quality of DJs on price alone. Often you won't be comparing apples to apples.
Can you act as the Master of Ceremonies?
Yes. If you prefer a female voice DJ 360's partner, TV journalist and host Valonda Calloway, handles that role. She is a trained, broadcast professional with 16 years experience. We work with your wedding or event planner to make all the typical announcements.
What kind of music do you play?
DJ 360's library consists of more than 40,000 songs. It includes R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Old School Hip Hop and R&B, Go Go, Soulful House and Rock. We meet with you well in advance of your event to determine the type of mood you want to set. DJ 360 will provide a form for you to fill out explaining the type of music you want to hear. For a wedding for instance, the form asks what you want to dance to for your first dance or for the dance with your parents. No worries about explicit lyrics. You determine the level of interaction you want DJ 360 to have.
Do you take requests?
If you want DJ 360 to take requests from your guests, he will. If you prefer we stick to your list we will tactfully inform your guests of your request.
What time do you set up?
Set up is at least one and a half hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. This allows time to thoroughly test the equipment and ensure that you and your guests have the best sound possible.
Are you insured?
Yes, the company carries liability insurance.
Can you mix music videos for my event?
Yes, DJ 360 has a large collection of music videos including current hits and old school favorites from the era when MTV, BET and VH1 aired videos.
Do you have a wireless microphone and do you charge extra for it?
DJ 360 includes a wireless microphone as part of his standard sound system at no additional charge. DJ 360 can also provide wireless lapel microphones for an additional fee.
Is there a charge for travel?
There is no charge for travel for events in the Triangle area. That includes Wake,
How far in advance do we need to book?
As soon as possible. The first client to put down a deposit on their event will get that date guaranteed in writing and receive a contract. Last minute bookings are always possible. You should call regardless.
Why is your company called Eighty-Seven Sounds and Entertainment? DJ 360 and his partner DJ Hollywood met in 1987, their freshman year in college, and started working together. It was a great time for them so they wanted to incorporate the year into their business name.
